There are no short cuts in the Kingdom of God. We ALL have to do things God's way. He is no respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of His Word and of those who obey it.
The Lord has established His Kingdom HIS way, but how many people think they can dance through life doing things their own way and still expect to grow spiritually and to still receive His blessings in their lives? Christians need to know that it is the Lord who established the local church. If He established it for our benefit, then why would we choose to ignore it? When believers ignore the church, don't come, etc., then they backslide. There are no exceptions. The sad part is that they think they are still okay, but it is obvious to everyone but themselves that they are not okay.
The Lord established the Five-Fold ministry - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers who are called, anointed and appointed by God for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry. In the local church, the Lord placed a Pastor as the head, the under shepherd. The local church is for people to receive salvation, healing, deliverance, to grow spiritually, to fellowship with other Christians, to serve in His house, and to support the work of God with tithes and offerings.
Doing this God's way makes a profound difference in their own lives and in the lives of their family, at the work place, in the community, and reaching up into their state and our nation. Be the kind of Christian that the Lord has established us to be through His local church so that when we stand before the Lord He can say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord", instead of "Well, you're done!"
