Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Recently one of my grandsons interviewed me for a class assignment concerning people that help people in your community.
I told him, "My greatest joy in being a pastor is to help people!" So I want to share with you a vital key to really enjoying life!
Jesus said in Luke 6:31, "And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them likewise."
If we as born again Christians would just realize and heed the words of Jesus it would change our quality of life overnight!
Romans 5:5, "...the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
We have in our born again nature the ability of God to treat our friends, family, neighbors, strangers and everyone else how Jesus would if we just train ourselves to yield to God's love that we already have!
The best way I know to enjoy this good, God kind of living is to spend time studying and then living in line with 1 Corinthians 13:-48a (I especially like the Amplified Version on this)!
As you allow your spirit to feed on verses like these and purpose to put them into practice in your every day actions and interactions with people you will be able to say with the psalmist, "How good and how pleasant it is to get along with people!"
