"We are MORE than conquerors through Him that loved us!” Romans 8:37
WOW! What a statement that is. If the word of God tells us that we are MORE than a conqueror through Jesus, then we must be!
We have to maintain a right and proper attitude about who we are. The devil tries to convince us that we are losers, ugly, not qualified, not good enough, and on and on. He tries to surround us with fear – fear of failure. Fear that if we step out and do what He has placed on our heart to do, that we won’t succeed at it, that no one will like it.
What should we do about it? Quit? If we quit, then we have indeed lost. That is the enemy’s objective is to get us to quit! We must learn to press through to what the Lord has placed on our hearts to do. Bathe it in prayer! Take authority over the devil and tell him to flee! Research what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Ask for wisdom! James 1:5-6 tells us “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
If a double minded man is unstable in all his ways, that means that a single-minded man is stable in all of his ways!
Don’t be afraid to ask qualified people for help in developing whatever it is you are trying to accomplish. Keep on keepin’ on and don’t faint! Overcome! Don’t succumb!
